Madison Elementary School Dual Language Program
Beginning with the 2014-15 school year, Madison Elementary will be a full dual language school at the kindergarten and 1st grade levels and will roll up one grade level each year thereafter. If you are interested in having your Kindergarten-5th grade child in the program, you must attend the required meeting on Thursday, March 20th at 6:00 p.m. at Madison Elementary School. Move of 6th Grade to Middle School
The Mount Vernon School Board voted at their regular meeting on November 20 to change grade bands. Effective with the 2014-2015 school year, 6th grade will be at the middle schools. Much will be done this winter and spring to ensure a smooth transition. Meal Program at LaVenture Middle School
LaVenture Middle School now offers a dinner meal program for children under 18 on Monday-Thursday from 4:00-5:00 p.m. (except on early release days). Check this link for the menu and other important information.
