Kindergarten Early Entry
The Mount Vernon School District schedules appointments for screening for entry to kindergarten for children who turn five years old prior to September 1.
Special exemptions may be made for younger pupils who appear to be sufficiently advanced to succeed in the educational program. For a fee, parents may request pre-admission screening.
