This is Mrs. Dylan's 8th year teaching 7th grade science at Mount Baker Middle School. Mrs. Dylan grew up in the Mount Vernon area. After graduating from high school, Mrs. Dylan attended Washington State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following that, she earned her Washington State teaching certificate and Masters in Special Education degree from Western Washington University.
Mrs. Dylan taught in the Granite Falls and Stanwood School districts for seven years before coming to the Mount Vernon School district to teach science. She has been coaching the MBMS Science Olympiad teams since 2005, and also completed her National Board Certification in 2005.
Mrs. Dylan lives in Anacortes with her husband, Patrik, and two sons, Geoffrey and Thomas. Her interests include jogging, cycling, hiking, camping, reading, and gardening.
