Biography

I am a teacher at heart beginning by teaching Sunday School when I was 13. I graduated from South Kitsap High School and began studying education at Western Washington University. I graduated in 2001 with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. In 2005 I earned my Master's in Elementary Literacy. In 2008 I received my National Board Certificate in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy.

I have two young children, one of who attends Centennial. In my spare time I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and playing with my children outside.
