Mount Vernon's Graduation Supports are the safety nets and accelerators we wrap around students who need extra help getting across the graduation finish line on time. Our goal is the same goal we hold for every student: 100% of graduates ready for post-secondary success.
Supports include:
- Credit retrieval — summer school, after-school options, and online coursework so students can recover credits without falling another year behind
- Graduation pathway advising — one-on-one support to make sure each student has a viable path (SAT/ACT, ASVAB, transition courses, CTE sequence, or a dual-credit option) per Washington's graduation pathway requirements
- Senior conferences — comprehensive checkpoints in 11th and 12th grade to catch missing requirements while there's still time to fix them
- Family engagement — workshops and outreach so parents and guardians can support the path home
- Aspire Academy and Mount Vernon Virtual Learning — alternative pathways for students who need a different setting
