Throughout the 23-24 school year, the district has continued exploring the idea of a balanced calendar. Part of that work includes getting community feedback. Our hope was to meet in person, but unfortunately due to inclement weather the Community Forum scheduled for January 18th was canceled. Alternatively, we’ve put together a video where we discuss why the district is exploring a balanced calendar as well as calendar comparisons. In this video, we share the differences between two sample calendars. One calendar looks very similar to the 2023-2024 school year and one calendar has additional days throughout the year.
