Mariachi Scholarship
I had the privilege of presenting a student in the Mariachi program with the “Dr. Vivanco Mariachi Scholarship”.  This was an opportunity for me to not only give back to our student community, but to see students excel in the arts and music. Congratulations to Iker Martinez for being the recipient of this yearly scholarship.

Donation to our students
The Knights of Columbus recently donated jackets to the Mount Vernon McKinney Vento students.  The organization provided over 200 jackets to students in need.  We are grateful to have groups like this in our community.
