Joint Statement from Mount Vernon School District and PSE 1 Union Group

As we prepare to welcome our students back for the new school year, we are pleased to announce that the Mount Vernon School District administration and the PSE 1 Union Group have successfully come together during recent bargaining discussions. This collaborative effort has underscored our shared commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for both our students and staff.

The negotiations were marked by mutual respect and a shared goal of ensuring the best possible outcomes for our entire school community. We are happy that through open dialogue and cooperation, we were able to reach agreements that reflect the needs and values of our district.

With the start of the school year just around the corner, we are excited to see our students return to classrooms, ready to learn and grow. We are also proud of the strong partnership between the PSE 1 Union Group and the district administration, which plays a crucial role in supporting the success and well-being of everyone in our schools.

Thank you to all involved in the bargaining process for your dedication and hard work. We look forward to a great year ahead, filled with learning, collaboration, and growth.
