Background of the Strategic Plan
The Mount Vernon School District 2025-2031 Strategic Plan is the roadmap for the future of our schools. Shaped by the voices of the Mount Vernon School District community, this plan will led our district over the next six years, enhancing policies, programs, and practices that prioritize student achievement, equity, and innovation. The process of developing this plan was truly collaborative, with more than 2700 educators, parents, students, administrators, community members, and board members lending their voices to help create this roadmap.
