Enrollment & Getting Started

Transition to Kindergarten (TTK)

In the Mount Vernon School District, we believe that every child deserves equal access to a high-quality early education program. We know these programs look different for every student and every family situation. The options range from the love and support of a family caregiver to community preschools to home-based learning centers. The Mount Vernon School District is pleased to be able to provide one such option with our Transition to Kindergarten program. We know that however early childhood education looks for your student, a solid foundation in the early years will contribute to continued success throughout their entire academic career.

Mount Vernon School District is proud to offer the Transition to Kindergarten (TTK) program—an exciting full-day learning experience designed to help 4-year-olds build strong social and academic foundations before entering kindergarten.
